TALKIFY

Privacy on this site

Updated 13 August 2026

This notice covers this site only: the home page and the early access form. The Talkify app has its own policy, at jointalkify.com/privacy.

1. Analytics

We use cookies to keep this site running, to improve it, and to see how people use it. In practice: page views, clicks on the sign up buttons, form opens, and completed sign ups.

No session recording, so nobody is filming your screen. No heatmaps, no dead click tracking, no advertising, and we don't sell your data to anyone. Analytics run on PostHog, and everything travels through our own domain rather than a third party address.

2. What is stored on your device

Until you choose, nothing. Analytics run in memory only, and are cleared when you close the tab.

If you accept:

NamePurposeDuration
ph_…_posthog Analytics cookie. Associates page views with the same browser from one visit to the next. 12 months
ph_… Local storage. The same purpose, held by the browser. Until cleared
tk-consentement Local storage. Stores your answer, so that you are not asked again. Until cleared

If you decline, the cookie and the entries above are deleted immediately, and your answer is the only thing kept.

3. Why the question does not appear everywhere

Where the law requires consent before anything is stored, the question appears on arrival and nothing is written before you answer. That is the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.

Everywhere else, analytics start without a prompt, and declining stays one click away: the Cookies link at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, it is treated as a refusal everywhere, and you are not asked.

The country is provided by our host, which had already determined it in order to serve you this page. Your IP address is never passed to a third party geolocation service for this.

4. What the form sends

When you sign up: your email address, whether you joined to create or to chat, the language of the page, and the language your email should be sent in.

Alongside it, context that tells us where sign ups come from: the referring site, campaign parameters in the URL, your time zone, your browser language, your screen size, time spent on the page, the number of previous visits (only if you accepted analytics), and the device, operating system and browser you are using.

Also your location as our host already knows it, because it needed it to serve you this page: country, region, city, postal code, continent, and the coordinates of that city. These describe a city, not an address. Your IP address is never sent to a third party geolocation service, and is not stored either.

Finally, the domain of your email address is checked with Cloudflare's public DNS service, to see whether it can receive mail at all. A typo like gmial.com would otherwise mean you never hear from us. Only the domain is sent, never the full address.

We do not track email opens. Our emails contain no invisible image, and our sending provider's own open and click tracking is switched off.

None of this is bought, resold, or used for targeted advertising.

5. Who receives it

6. How long we keep it

Your sign up is kept for as long as you remain on the list. You can unsubscribe from any email we send; the record is then marked unsubscribed and deleted.

Analytics events carry neither your name nor your email address. They are kept for 12 months at most.

7. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection. Write to privacy@jointalkify.com and we will take care of it.

Changed your mind? You can answer again now, and your answer applies to this site immediately.
